Awin is a global affiliate marketing platform that was formed in 2017 after companies Zanox and Affiliate Window decided to join forces and rebrand into one entity. As a result, Zanox became one of the fastest growing affiliate networks out there and it merged with the European Affilinet network that’s operating since 1997. Although Zanox sounds like a new name in the industry, the company has been operating in the affiliate networking space since the 2000s.

Awin API Integration

To connect to the Awin API, you will need your Account ID, your API Key, and you will need to select your Timezone.

Set up Awin

1. Log in to your publisher account. You will find your Publisher ID next to your publisher name on the top left of the page:

Important: Your Awin account must have Owner, Admin, or Full Access permissions.

2. To find your API Key, click on the menu icon on the top right (1) and select API Credentials (2):

Then, enter your password (1), click the Show my API token button (2) to reveal your token, then copy (3) the token and paste it into Strackr:

3. Finally, choose your timezone. The default is UTC.

You can now connect!

Separate Data by Website

If you have several websites, you can create multiple Promotional Spaces on Awin. However, unlike other networks, the Awin API does not allow us to pull data based on promotional spaces to be used as a Channel on Strackr.

The solution is to create separate publisher accounts within your main account.

Click on the menu icon on the top right (1), then select Manage Accounts:

On the new page, click on Dashboard:

You will then be able to create new Publisher accounts:
